Dave Bainbridge is a stunning player with absolute control over feel and emotion. Dave is both a solo artist and a major driving force behind the band Iona. His fluid, emotional guitar playing, epic keyboard work and expansive compositions combine into of this generation’s most powerful and original musical voices. His guitar work is the equal in dexterity, imagination, and spirit to that of the UK’s other great creative guitarists, such as John McLaughlin, Allan Holdsworth, and Steve Howe. Dave’s guitar playing rides on haunting keyboard washes, which are the foundation of the huge, ethereal soundscapes he creates.
